Guide Intelligent Wins Two First Prizes in the China Ports and Harbours Association Science and Technology Awards

Recently, the review results for the 2024 China Ports and Harbours Association Science and Technology Awards, jointly approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Office for Science and Technology Awards, were announced.

 Guide Intelligent participated in and completed two technological achievements, namely Research and Application of Key Technologies for Intelligent Control and Management in Port Timber Handling and Research and Application of Complete Sets of Technologies for Smart Inland Water Container Ports, both of which won the First Prize in the China Ports and Harbours Association Science and Technology Awards.

Research and Application of Key Technologies for Intelligent Control and Management in Port Timber Handling utilizes core technologies such as AI visual recognition and intelligent algorithms to break through the traditional efficiency bottlenecks in timber handling.

 It achieves full-process intelligent operation control and safety early warning, improving the efficiency of single-ship timber operations by over 25% and significantly reducing safety accident risks, setting a pioneering example for the smart construction of inland water bulk cargo terminals.

Research and Application of Complete Sets of Technologies for Smart Inland Water Container Ports has broken through key technologies for the intelligent operation of inland water automated container terminals, forming a complete set of technologies encompassing "basic theories - technical systems - key technologies - integrated platforms." It has created a fully automated operation system for inland water container ports that covers all scenarios, processes, and is domestically produced, providing a replicable and scalable engineering model within China.
